Mycelium Chair

In a collaboration with okom wrks lab, Britta Bielak, Olivia Mansier and I set out to design a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional wood in the built environment. We experimented with growing and fabricating an innovative material derived from mycelium fungal matter. As a result, we designed and constructed a fully functional chair made entirely from organic matter. Through this project, we proudly presented a sustainable alternative to conventional materials in the built environment.
